Ultimaten rantaturnaus

Tulevana viikonlodena meikäläisen voi pongata St. Nazairen edustalla pelaamassa Ultimaten rantaturnausta. En ole aiemmin osallistunut kuin kenttä- ja sisäturnauksiin, joten onkin jo aika kokeilla rannalla pelaamista. Eronahan näyttää ohjelman perusteella olevan sekä rento meininki yleensä, että pelaaminen ilman kenkiä hiekassa viiden pelaajan voimin. Sen verran olen kokeillut rantameininkiä, että kyllähän sitä syöksyy ja heittelee, mutta juokseminen onkin sitten aika rankkaa. Ja huomioikaa turnauksen pituus: Se jatkuu peijooni maanantaihin saakka, täällä kun on silloin taas kerran vapaapäivä.  Joku jeesuspäivähän tuo lienee, pentekote. Jännä sinänsä, että täällä noita vapaapäiviä on noin paljon uskonnollisin perustein, vaikka valtio ja uskonto on kokonaan erotettu toisistaan. Mutta hyvä mulle, tulossa mielenkiintoinen turnaus. Rankempi juttu Miialle, kun joutuu jäämään tyttöjen kanssa tänne. Varsinkin, jos en tänään onnistu saamaan vakuutusta autolle järkihintaan.

Tänään se auto kuitenkin tulee, ainakin seisomaan parkkipaikalle... Voihan sitä ainakin käydä tutkimassa tekniikkaa ja katselemassa katon liukumista pois ja päälle.

Tässä turnausohjelma vielä oikeen engelsmannien kielellä. Ultimatehan on laji, jonka piirissä pärjää Ranskassakin ilman ranskaa. Suurin osa pelaajista omaa yliopistotaustan ja viikonlopun turnauskin on luultavasti varsin kansainvälinen. Mutta ainoana suomalaisena saanen kuitenkin taas kerran olla.

The beach is getting closer and closer so we have lot of infos on this email :

Accommodation : 
- For the teams staying at the camp site, you can go directly to the camping "Le Clein" (22 rue de Kerdun), and ask for the "Frisbee zone".
- For the teams staying on the apartments, please tell us if you expect to arrive after 22H00. You'll meet our accommodation staff on the beach at the welcome party. They'll give you the keys and bring you your apartments. .Don't forget to bring sheets or sleeping bags.

 - Breakfast at the beach :
    - The breakfast is included for the campers.
    - For the others, you can choose to have the breakfast at the beach too. Cost : 5€/day per person. You'll be able to buy it on the beach, but be kind to inform us before so we can manage the quantity's.

ECO TOURNAMENT
    Like last years, we try to be as green as possible. That means :
      - For breakfast, bring your picnic set.
        - on the fields, bring your bottles. You'll be able to refill them at each score-table.
        - on the beach, we'll have different bins for sorting rubbish.
        - we have a green field :-)

Dive contest :
Yes, the dive contest is back !!! Sign-up Saturday morning, there is a limited number of spots.Teams of 2 players (not have to be from the same ultimate team).

aquatic leisure centre

Saturday, we'll bring you to an aquatic leisure centre, sobring your swimming-suits,speedos & co. Shorts not allowed, sand not allowed.

Sunday night Party

Dinner & Party will be held on an undisclosed location. Party theme : what (super) Hero are you ?
